I will just walk, I thought. Walking as a remedy for frustration. I will walk, because everybody drives all the time, because I drive all the time. I will walk a route that I have never considered a journey, because it is a distance that I have covered numberless times in my life, riding the train, going by car. This time I will walk from Vienna to Graz. This reduces the chance of somebody getting up and telling me, you cannot do that. Graz is where my parents live, two of my sisters, my grandmother. It is from there that I first headed out into the world.
