A live sound demonstration of a selfmade sampler. A digital instrument based on the tones of field recordings with a pickup coil on the one hand and on the rhythm of voices that we have gradually lost on the other. In this case: the voice of my grandmother/“yati” Saloha Zaddem playing a lullaby for my father on Tunisian darbuka.
The sampler brings together all the dissonant sounds that pass us by into a consonant keyboard.
