Aurora has been at the helm of Bar Asturias for over four decades.

Through her eyes, we discover the history of this small establishment, founded in 1957 in the town of Saint-Gilles. As the oldest gathering place for the Spanish immigrant community in Belgium, it also bears witness to the hopes and transformations of an entire generation.

As the neighborhood changes and longtime patrons pass away, Aurora keeps alive the memory of a place that stands the test of time and is steeped in the stories of those who left their homeland to start over.
