Losing

We are losing marine diversity because of the notes of humans. We did this in the 1940's and 1950's through mass use of pesticide and now through plastic. That plastic shatters into particles and they pass through the skin of the fish. In addition, overfishing is a problem to protect the fish from mass mortality. Fortunately, there are companies that take their responsibility and change this, such as sustainable fish farming that does not discharge fertilizers and nitrates into the ocean, but instead utilizes them where possible.
