The story follows Jennifer and her family, whose lives are turned upside down by her father's cancer diagnosis. Jennifer, lovingly nicknamed 'Jennie' by their father, is the first one to get the diagnosis and has to deliver the devastating news to the rest of the family. Every family member has their own way of coping with the anticipatory grief, and it causes a lot of friction within the family. Will the Wong family be able to put aside their cultural & generational differences for the sake of their father's well-being?
