"Wat ons bindt" tells the story of Bram and Sarah. When Bram has to take Marie to the day care on a hot summer day, he forgets her in the car. Due to the increasing heat in the car, he loses his daughter. This incident is a serious change in his life. Not only does he lose Marie, but also his wife Sarah, who is looking for her way alone due to grief and tension. The divorce is very hard for Bram. After a long time he tries to contact Sarah again. (The film focuses on how Bram experiences and deals with the situation).
