Carl's isolement

A short documentary that discovers the life of uncle Carl Hoet (54), who lives psychiatric isolated. He's being followed for one week in which we can see what he does when he's not in a psychiatric center. The clue of the film is the commentary from an ex-psychiatrist and from Carl's father. They both give negative commentary on the system of modern psychiatry en how people look at schizophrenia today. Patients are not being encoureged to develop a life. The psychiatry doesn't believe that they are curable whereby the patients get totally isolated. Furthermore the interviewees also give solutions for how it can all be done better, each with their own opinion.
