Mini Mania

Beschrijving :

Mania, a Syrian mother, her husband missing in Syria since 3 years.
Probably he died during Battle of Al-Tabqa airbase in 2014.

For different  reasons Mania decided to leave Syria with her only 6 years old daughter and now lives in Belgium.

Her journey was full of challenges as she crossed different countries until she arrived: Syria >>Turkey >> Greece >> Belgium.
She now lives in Mol ( Flemish part of Belgium ) with her daughter, studying Dutch and following an Integration Course.
She is preparing herself  to engage in the labour market by following a Cosmetic Course.
At the same time there is a dream in her heart, a soft voice calling her to go back.
To work in her passion, making an exhibition of paintings "Women's challenges in life",
a reflection of her own experiences  of being a wife for a missing husband,  a mom for a little daughter, and  alone in a new country.
